Tottenham Hotspur Rejects Bayern Munich’s “Final Bid” for Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur, the Premier League club, has turned down Bayern Munich’s latest transfer offer for their star striker, Harry Kane.

While Harry Kane is reportedly keen on a move to the German Bundesliga side, both Spurs and Bayern have not yet come to an agreement regarding the 30-year-old England international.

Bayern’s most recent bid for Kane stands at around £86 million, falling short of Tottenham Hotspur’s reported price tag of approximately £100 million for the player.

Following the submission of this bid, Bayern Munich reportedly informed the North London club that they will not make any further offers, indicating that this is their final attempt to sign the England international.

However, with more than three weeks remaining in the transfer window, it remains uncertain whether Bayern Munich will persist in their pursuit of Kane’s signature or explore other options.

Kane, who has an impressive record of 280 goals in 435 games across all competitions for Tottenham Hotspur, has not shown any intention to extend his contract with the club this summer. His current contract is set to expire next summer.

While Tottenham Hotspur has rejected three bids from Bayern this summer, there are concerns that they may risk losing the prolific striker for free if he is not sold in this transfer window.

Reports suggest that Kane has informed Spurs that if he is not transferred before the start of the 2023-2024 Premier League season, he will remain at the club for the rest of the season and leave as a free agent next summer.
