Tinubu Vows To Crash Petrol Price, Eliminate Hardships

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made a promise to address the challenges facing Nigerians.

President Tinubu speaking at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture’s 11th Convocation Ceremony in Abia State, acknowledged the socio-economic and political problems Nigerians are dealing with.

The president who was represented in the event by Professor Garba Sharubutu, the Executive Secretary of the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria, stated that efforts are already been positioned to eliminate the current hardships.

He revealed that policies are being refined to tackle the root causes of problems rather than just the symptoms.

Tinubu in his speech has assured that the high prices of petrol would soon be reduced, stating the expected production start of some local refineries. He stressed on the use of the supplementary budget to intervene in critical areas of the agricultural sector.

Freshreporters News reports that while addressing the issue of insecurity, Tinubu acknowledged that security is a major challenge and burden as country.

He made an assurance that, in the near future, it would become history.

However, emphasis was made on the need for a continuous support and cooperation from all Nigerians for the solutions to be implemented effectively.

The president pleaded with Nigerians to bear with the administration and to remain been supportive, while he promising to leave no stone unturned in puting an ened to the severe hardships faced by the people.

Tinubu was delighted to be invited to MOUAU, he praised the institution for its academic and infrastructural achievements despite different challenges in the nation.
