Tinubu: Atiku’s Camp Comments on the Decision Maker for May 29th Swearing-In

Daniel Bwala, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign organization, has expressed uncertainty regarding the individual who will be sworn in on May 29th.

Freshreporters reports that Bwala took to Twitter on Wednesday to share his perspective, asserting that only God knows the outcome of a pending Supreme Court case scheduled for judgment on Friday concerning the presidential election.

Regardless of the impending Supreme Court ruling, Bwala emphasized the imperative for Nigeria’s success as a nation.

He acknowledged the existence of many supporters from the All Progressives Congress (APC) who previously directed insults toward him but were fervent admirers when he belonged to the party.

Bwala further stated his understanding of the emotions exhibited by these supporters and, despite their provocations, conveyed President-elect Bola Tinubu’s appreciation for his loyalty during his time in the APC.

“On May 29th, a swearing-in ceremony will take place. However, only God knows who will be sworn in due to the case scheduled for judgment at the Supreme Court on Friday,” Bwala wrote.

“Whichever way the judgment goes, Nigeria will prevail, as that is the essence of the democracy we uphold.

“To my surprise, 99 percent of Asiwaju supporters who are hurling insults at me now were my most ardent fans when I was a member of the APC. I can completely understand the emotions driving your actions, and I hold no grudges against you.

“Even until today, Asiwaju acknowledges and appreciates my unwavering loyalty and support during my tenure in the APC. I am content with that,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Freshreporters understands that with the Supreme Court’s ruling pending, the scheduled swearing-in of Tinubu on May 29th remains uncertain.
