Nigeria President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nabbed new Governing Councils for two federal tertiary institutions, the Maritime Academy of Nigeria in Oron, Akwa Ibom State, and the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology in Zaria, Kaduna State.
This was conveyed in a statement issued out by the Special Adviser to the President, Ajuri Ngalale on Wednesday, 7th of August, 2024.
The statement reads:
“President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of the following Nigerians to the governing councils of these specialized institutions of learning:
“MARITIME ACADEMY OF NIGERIA, ORON, AKWA IBOM STATE
Kehinde Akinola — Chairman,Shehu Maigari Doguwa– Member,Samuel Isichei — Member, Faisal Lawal Halidu — Member
“NIGERIAN COLLEGE OF AVIATION TECHNOLOGY, ZARIA, KADUNA STATE
Anthony Manzo — Chairman,Ngozi Okuoma — Member,Durungunwa Abdulmalik — Member,Biodun Taiwo — Member,Florence Toyin Olorunfemi — Member
