President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Olugbemisola Titilayo Odusote as the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School. Her tenure is scheduled to begin on January 10, 2026, and will last for four years.
Dr. Odusote’s appointment is historic, marking the first time a woman will lead the institution since its founding. She brings significant experience in legal education and administration, with a background focused on improving academic standards and professional development within the legal field.
Under her leadership, the Nigerian Law School which is responsible for training law graduates for admission to the Nigerian Bar is expected to implement new reforms and innovative approaches to legal education across the country.
