Dr. Dayo Mobereola has been appointed by President Bola Tinubu to the position of Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency for a renewable term of four years.
The appointment replaces Mr. Bashir Jamoh, whose term recently expired.
The President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, made the announcement in a statement titled “President Tinubu appoints new NIMASA Director-General” on Tuesday.
Mobereola is a graduate of the University of Wales in the United Kingdom and holds an M.Sc. in Transport Economics.
He is a fellow of both the Nigerian branch of the Chartered Institute of Transport in England.
From 2003 to 2015, he served as the Managing Director of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority. From 2015 to 2016, he also held the position of Commissioner for Transportation in Lagos State.
He held the positions of Director of Project Development and Deputy Managing Director at AFM Consulting Plc in London. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
