The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced the arrival of 15 new power transformers at its Akangba 330/132kV Transmission Substation in Lagos.
The new power transformers include one 150MVA transformer, three 100MVA transformers and eleven 60MVA transformers, along with their accessories.
According to a statement on the X handle of the Transmission Company of Nigeria, the transformers will be distributed to various project sites across the country to support ongoing efforts to expand and stabilize the national grid.
The statement reads:
“The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) Akangba 330/132kV Transmission Substation stores in Lagos has taken delivery of 15 power transformers comprising of 1x150MVA, 3x100MVA and 11x60MVA units along with their accessories.
“The transformers, which will be distributed to various project sites nationwide will further enhance the performance of TCN when installed.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>>
