Super eagles player, John Ogu slams Mohamed Salah following his plea for humanitarian aid to Gaza

John Ogu, the Nigerian Super Eagles midfielder, who plays in Israel has slammed Egyptian football Star, Identified as Mohamed Salah over his call for humanitarian aid to reach Gaza ‘immediately’ as the Israel-Palestine conflict continues.

On Tuesday, 17th of October, 2023 a massive explosion killed hundreds of people at a crowded hospital in Gaza City, which the Liverpool forward described as ‘horrifying.’

Palestinian officials say the horror explosion was caused by an Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) air strike, while officials in the Jewish state insisted it was the result of a ‘failed’ rocket launched by terrorist group Islamic Jihad.

Salah in his message said: ‘It’s not always easy to speak at a time like this. There has been too much violence and brutality, the escalation in recent weeks has been unbearable to witness.’

‘All lives are sacred and must be protected. The massacres need to stop, families are being torn apart.

‘What’s clear now is that humanitarian aid to Gaza must be allowed immediately. The people there are in terrible conditions. The scenes at the hospital last night were horrifying.

The people of Gaza need food, water, and medical supplies urgently. I am calling on world leaders to come together and prevent the slaughter of innocent souls. Humanity must prevail.’

However, Reacting to Salah’s message to the world, Ogu slammed Salah for staying mute after Hamas attacked, killed, and kidnapped innocent Israelis at a festival earlier this month, which triggered the war.

He claimed that Egypt refused to accept some refugees amid the ongoing war.

In another post, Ogu, who plays for the Israeli club Maccabi Jaffa also claimed that Israeli soldiers including police and civilians have lost their lives since the war started, while many others remain kidnapped. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
