Sunday Igboho, a well-known member of the Yoruba nation movement, has journeyed back to Nigeria to bid farewell to his mother.
It was a momentous day for Igboho and his followers on Wednesday when his spokeswoman, Olayomi Koiki, confirmed the news in a video.
Koiki’s caption read, “I can confirm that Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho is currently on his way to Igboho Town for the final burial of his mother MRS S.A. Adeyemo.
“The body of MRS S.A Adeyemo was picked up from the mortuary in Saki Town some few hours ago.”
Igboho was detained by the Benin Republic’s security forces in 2021, just three weeks after the Department of State Services had issued a wanted poster for him due to an alleged weaponry cache—an accusation he has since refuted. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
