A young man identified as Boyi Thankgod has reportedly taken his own life in an yet to-be ascertained circumstances.
It was gathered that the young man is a Nigerian army personnel and he took his own life in an army barrack in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital.
The soldier was attached to the 35 Artillery brigade, Alamala in Abeokuta, reports says.
Eyewitnesses at the scene of the incident said the deceased reportedly shot himself in the head at the standby duty on Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
