An upcoming musician Gnewzy, also known as Goodnews Enuemu, has been abducted.
The musician was kidnapped on Monday, April 29, while he was in Delta State for a performance. The incident happened along Eklat Road in the town of Ughelli.
The singer’s manager, Obas9ice, who managed to escape unharmed, told his record company that the shooters were wearing police uniforms.
Since then, his kidnappers have been in touch with his record label and are seeking a $200,000 ransom to free him.
Gnewzy’s captors have threatened to send his “head” if his management calls the police or marks the money sent in as ransom. They promised to send a mail outlining the ransom’s deposit location within five days. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
