Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has paid an emotional tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi, nearly three years after the child’s tragic passing.
In a heartfelt post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, Davido wrote, “Ifeanyi David Adedeji Adeleke RIP LEGEND!!”
Ifeanyi, who was the singer’s first son with his wife, Chioma, died on October 31, 2022, after a drowning incident at their Banana Island residence in Lagos.
Following the heartbreaking loss, Davido took a brief break from the public eye and social media, later returning with the release of his critically acclaimed album “Timeless” in 2023.
The couple has since found renewed joy, welcoming a set of twins in the United States in the same year.
