Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transportation and former Governor of Rivers State, has publicly accused the state of being infamous for manipulating election results.
He urged the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to actively resist such practices.
Amaechi said:
“Our state is notorious for writing results, and we must stop them from writing results.
“When they said that they have already written results, it discourages voters from coming out.
“We should encourage people to come out and vote for the removal of the current government or we will all die of hunger.”
Amaechi, a former presidential contender under the All Progressives Congress (APC), recently announced his resignation from the party.
