The Nigerian Senate has granted approval to President Bola Tinubu’s request to appoint 20 special advisers.
The announcement came after Senate President Ahmad Lawan read the president’s request on the floor of the upper legislative chamber on Tuesday.
President Tinubu’s letter to the Senate did not specify the individuals who would be appointed as special advisers.
However, despite the absence of specific names, the Senate swiftly granted approval for the president’s request.
