Scarcity: Where Did Money Racketeers Get New Naira Notes? Stand-up Comedian, Akpororo Asks

Akpororo, a famous Nigerian comedian, has lamented about the scarcity of redesigned Naira notes in the country.

The stand up comedian cried out via his Instagram handle on Wednesday and also questioned that where did the money changers get the new notes.

The comedian also dragged the racketeers for selling the new notes. He noted that money changers pay N700,000 for the sum of N1m to owners. He also called on proper investigation for the current mishap stating that naira is not dollar that one is buying.

Expressing sadness, Akpororo said, “There is no cash. We are waiting for new Naira notes. New Naira notes have not circulated but money changers already have it and are changing money back to back. N700,000 for N1m new naira note. How did money changers have the notes? They need to investigate it. We are buying our money when it is not Dollars.”
