Missile strikes launched by the United States have reportedly hit multiple terrorist camps in Sokoto State, Nigeria. The operation follows a prior declaration by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who labeled Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern” and threatened military action against terrorist groups.
According to security sources, approximately 16 missiles were fired, with three separate camps being struck. One of the impacted locations was farmland in Bargini village, located within the Jabo ward of Tambuwal Local Government Area.
A local representative, Bashar Jabo of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, confirmed an explosion occurred in the Jabo area. He stated that the incident resulted in no civilian casualties and did not damage any residential buildings.
