Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, has vowed to ensure that justice prevails in the killing of the Lagos-based Legal Practitioner, Bolanle Raheem, in the Ajah area of Lagos on Sunday by a policeman.
According to a statement shared on the Lagos Governor Twitter handle on Monday, and similarly via his verified Facebook page, Sanwo-Olu expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and ensure the family that justice shall prevail.
He said, “With utter shock and sadness, I received the news of the unfortunate and avoidable death of Barrister Bolanle Raheem at the hands of a police officer at Ajiwe.
“My condolence to her family, friends and associates. I can assure you that justice will be served. Nothing will be spared under the Laws of Lagos State until justice is served speedily and adequately.”
