The Ojora family of Lagos has announced the passing of their patriarch and esteemed royal figure, Otunba Adekunle Ojora. He held the traditional titles of the Otunba of Lagos and the Lisa of Ife.
According to a statement released by the family on Wednesday, Otunba Ojora died in the early hours of the morning. He was 93 years old.
His final rites will be conducted in Lagos, following Islamic traditions.
He is survived by his wife, Erelu Ojolape Ojora, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The family has requested prayers for the repose of his soul, asking Allah to grant him mercy and a place in Aljannah Firdaus (Paradise).
