A national political summit has formally backed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office.
The endorsement was made at the 2026 summit of the National Forum of Former Legislators (NFFL), which was convened by the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila. The event gathered notable figures and ex-lawmakers from federal and state levels.
Held with the theme “National Unity and Nation Building: 2031,” the forum centered on strategies to enhance national unity, democratic resilience, and sustainable development over the coming years.
Attendees voiced strong support for President Tinubu’s leadership and his administration’s reform programs. They characterized his government as dedicated to fostering national cohesion and achieving long-term developmental goals.
The summit’s participants unanimously adopted a resolution to endorse the President, pledging their ongoing support for his policy direction and governance agenda.
