Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued fresh warnings to presidents across Africa, including those of Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Guinea, and Mali.
He cautioned that their current policies could trigger political unrest, insecurity, and even threats to their lives if urgent steps are not taken.
In a statement released on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Ayodele warned that Chad’s President, Success Masra, faces assassination plots similar to what befell his late father, while Côte d’Ivoire’s Alassane Ouattara risks a public uprising if he fails to overhaul his security team.
He further predicted turmoil in Mozambique due to repressive policies tied to foreign dealings, and mass cabinet resignations in Kenya that could derail President William Ruto’s second-term ambition.
The cleric also foretold poor leadership decisions in Zimbabwe that could weaken the economy, coup plots in Guinea and Mali, and widespread unrest if urgent interventions are not made.
Ayodele urged the leaders to seek divine guidance, restructure governance, and prioritize citizens’ welfare to avert the looming crises.
