President Bola Tinubu has on Monday, May 12, sworn into office newly appointed commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and members of the Code of Conduct Bureau at the State House in Abuja.
The President has charged the newly elected delegates to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in their duties.
In a post on the President’s X handle, Tinubu explained that their roles and duties would have great impact in the electoral processes and promotion of accountability in the nation.
The post reads:
“This afternoon, I swore in the newly appointed Independent National Electoral Commission commissioners and members of the Board of the Code of Conduct at the State House in Abuja.
“I encourage them to uphold the highest standards of integrity in their roles and actively contribute to the advancement of both organisations.
