President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will commence a three-state official visit on Saturday, December 27, 2025, with stops in Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos states.
The tour begins in Borno State, where the President will commission key development projects executed by the state government in partnership with the Federal Government. During his stay, he will also attend the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor Ali Modu Sheriff, to Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Maiduguri, President Tinubu will travel to Bauchi State for a condolence visit. He will meet with the state government and the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the revered Islamic scholar and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood who passed away on November 27.
The President will then proceed to his home state, Lagos, where he will spend the remainder of the year’s holidays. His Lagos itinerary includes serving as the Guest of Honour at the prestigious Eyo Festival, scheduled for December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square. This year’s festival will pay special tribute to notable figures, including the President’s late mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, and former Lagos State Governors Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
