Pres. Tinubu commissions section of Lekki-Calabar coastal highway to mark second anniversary

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Saturday, led the commissioning of a section of the Lekki-Calabar Coastal Highway with other completed road projects in Lagos, as part of events marking his administration’s second anniversary in office.

The ceremony, which drew key government figures and dignitaries, also featured the official flag-off of several new infrastructure projects aimed at accelerating national development and improving connectivity across the country.

Among those present were Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Minister of Works, David Umahi; Minister of State for Works, Bello Goronyo; and Governor of Imo State and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Hope Uzodimma.

The Lekki-Calabar Coastal Highway project, which spans 750 kilometers upon completion, is one of the flagship infrastructure undertakings of the Tinubu administration.

The commissioned section marks significant progress in the first phase of the project, which is expected to boost transportation, tourism, and economic activities along Nigeria’s coastal corridor. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
