Police Foil Abduction Attempt, Rescue Secondary School Student in Lagos

The Ikotun Police Division was notified by watchful neighbors that there were suspicious people hanging around in their neighborhood.

Based on the information, the police moved quickly and covertly to look into the matter, not realizing that there was a potential threat nearby.

When police officers got to the location, they found two suspects—Adamaka Chinyere and Bolajoko Haruna—trying to get a female secondary school student into their car.

Seeing how urgent the situation was, the officers moved quickly to stop the kidnapping attempt and free the frightened student from the grip of her assailants.

The police swiftly apprehended the suspects, Adamaka Chinyere and Bolajoko Haruna, on the spot.

In addition, the Toyota Camry with tint that was used in the kidnapping attempt was seized as proof.

Adamaka Chinyere and Bolajoko Haruna are currently in police custody awaiting further investigation.
