Police Deploy Officers As Soldiers, Traders Clash In Abuja Market (Video)

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has sent intelligence officers to Banex, an electronics and telecoms gadget market in Abuja, in response to a fight that broke out on Saturday between some dealers and soldiers.

In a free-for-all clash at Banex on Saturday, a large number of civilians defeated several military in a widely shared video on X.

As of the time of this publication, neither the Defence Headquarters nor Onyema Nwachukwu, the Nigerian Army’s spokeswoman, could be reached for comment.
