The Police Service Commission (PSC) has launched the recruitment process for 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force, in line with a directive from President Bola Tinubu to boost the force’s personnel strength nationwide.
In collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, the PSC announced that the online application portal will open next week, emphasizing that the exercise will prioritize transparency and merit.
The recruitment covers two categories: General Duty and Specialists.
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and must meet the required medical, physical, and psychological fitness standards.
The commission stressed that the selection process will be strictly merit-based, with no room for external influence or interference.
