The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended one Abba Suleiman for possession of a stolen tricycle in Song Local Government Area.
The arrest was made during a Confidence Building Patrol along the Bariki Sajo – Song route on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
According to the statement released by SP Suleiman Nguroje, the spokesperson of the command, the 27-year-old suspect, Abba Suleiman, hails from Gombi and was caught red-handed with the stolen tricycle.
The police officers intercepted him while he was en route to dispose of the stolen vehicle in Jimeta, Yola North.
Authorities urge the public to come forward if they have been victims of tricycle theft. Anyone whose tricycle has been stolen is urged to report to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Song with proper proof of ownership to claim their vehicle. (CONTINUE READING HERE)
