Photos Of Sanwo-Olu And Owner Of Private Funeral Company Allegedly Hiding 103 Slain #EndSars Protesters Emerge

Recent reports have brought to light the alleged approval by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for the mass burial of 103 protesters who lost their lives during the October 20, 2020 #EndSARS protest. It is claimed that the state government enlisted the services of Messrs Tos Funeral Ltd, a privately-owned funeral company in Lagos State, owned by Taiwo Ogunsola.

According to sources, TOS Funerals Limited is said to be in possession of the remains of the 103 #EndSARS protesters who were tragically killed. A letter seen by Naija News suggests that these bodies have reportedly been kept at the morgue for nearly three years.

Photographs that have surfaced online depict Governor Sanwo-Olu alongside the owner of the morgue, adding to the unfolding story.

In recent developments, the Peoples Gazette has made allegations claiming that Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, gave approval for the mass burial of at least 103 protesters who lost their lives during the October 20, 2020 #EndSARS protest at the Lekki toll gate. The protesters were reportedly ‘massacred’ by a joint operation of the Nigerian Army and the police.

According to the publication, a letter dated July 19, purportedly from the public procurement agency, indicates that the state government engaged a private firm for the burial of the 103 bodies, which were identified as victims of the said killings. The alleged cost for the burial service amounts to N61,285,000.

In response to the report, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Akosile, informed the Peoples Gazette that the government will release its official response to the allegations soon.

It is important to note that these are allegations made by the Peoples Gazette, and any official statement or response from the Lagos State government should be awaited for a comprehensive understanding of the situation.
