The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, reacts as Bernardo Silva misses a penalty kick, sending City down 4-3 on penalties following a thrilling 4-4 aggregate result in their UCL quarterfinal match.
Reacting, Guardiola stated that Bernardo Silva missing the penalty is not a big deal…..”he didn’t want to.”
Guardiola said:
“It’s fine, he missed the penalty… he didn’t want to. It happens”.
“But being there, responsibility for everyone, when that happens, I’ll never judge. I have big respect”.
Manchester City’s hopes of winning the Champions League again were dashed following a thrilling defeat to Real Madrid on penalties on Tuesday.
Real Madrid had taken an early lead in the second leg at the Etihad Stadium thanks to Rodrygo, but City dominated the rest of the match and eventually tied the score with a goal from Kevin De Bruyne in the 76th minute.
