Musa Ille, the secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was assassinated by gunmen suspected to be bandits in Tsafe Local Government Area, Zamfara State.
Musa was shot and killed by the bandits on Monday night in front of his home in Tsafe town.
According to TVC, the late Musa Ille was a grassroots politician who made a significant contribution to the party’s victory in the 2023 election that resulted in Dauda Lawal being elected as the state governor.
The event occurs just a few weeks after two other people and PDP leader Shafiu Abubakar were slain in the state’s Maradun Local Government.
