Pastor Kingsley Fires Back at Critics: “Junior Pastors Have No Right to Question Me”

Controversial cleric and relationship coach, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, has hit back at those criticising him within Christian circles, stating that he feels insulted by what he describes as “junior pastors” questioning his actions.

Speaking during a sermon, the outspoken pastor defended his stance by emphasising that there are spiritual hierarchies and levels of authority that must be acknowledged. According to him, not everyone is qualified to correct a leader entrusted with a larger spiritual mandate.

“I’m insulted because there is ranking in the spirit. My junior can’t talk when I am talking,” he said, adding that some matters are beyond the understanding of those operating at a lower level.

Pastor Kingsley also referenced American televangelist Joyce Meyer, noting that she got a tattoo at around 80 years old. He explained that his decision to post about it was guided by his own calling and the nature of the audience he leads.

“I posted it because my own position and my own calling and my own constituency requires that,” he revealed.

He maintained that leadership comes with varying responsibilities and scopes, insisting that his role and the people he shepherds require certain actions that others may not fully comprehend.
