According to Philip Agbese, the Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Assembly, the former president was subjected to bullying and yelling during a joint session of the National Assembly where he presented a budget estimate.

On Tuesday, Agbese issued a statement expressing that the 10th House of Representatives led by Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas has demonstrated relative tranquility in contrast to previous Assemblies where internal conflicts, leadership disputes and disagreements between executives and lawmakers were common occurrences.
