The South East Revival Group (SERG), a pan-Igbo sociopolitical organization, has criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for interfering in the choice of elective leadership in the 10th National Assembly.
In a statement signed by Chief Willy Ezugwu, SERG’s President and National Coordinator, the group accused the APC of excluding the South East from the Senate Presidency and neglecting the North Central zone by not allocating any elective slots to the region.
The group called on opposition lawmakers and the excluded regions to form an alliance and elect the principal officers of the 10th National Assembly based on competence, justice, and equity.
