Yul Edochie, the Popular Nollywood actor, has celebrated Nigerian music Star, Tems for her white outfit that obscured other Oscars attendees’ views.
The singer wore a dramatic dress on Sunday with a shoulder piece that wrapped around her head, making audience members sitting behind her unable to see the stage at the Dolby Theatre, Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The Nigerian music star suffered intense backlash from netizens and other social media lovers, freshreporters reports.
Speaking on the backlash Tems received online for the dress, Yul Edochie hailing her took to his twitter handle on Monday and said, “Before you criticise #temsbaby for her Oscar dress, attend the Oscars first. Just like Will Smith’s slap did last year, Tems stole the show this year.
“Congratulations girl. We’re proud of you. Nigeria is proud of you.”
