OSCAR 2022: Best Actor, Will Smith Apologies To Academy And Fellow Nominees, Not For Slapping Chris Rock

Will Smith, Best Actor award winner at Oscars 2022,has apologised to the Academy and his fellow nominees as a beautiful moment at being able to shine a light on all of the people and not for slapping comedian, Chris Rock.

Chris Rock had earlier made a mockery about Jada pinkett Smith’s bald head while introducing category documentary at the award event.

Will Smith After landing Chris Rock a slap on shading his wife, tells him to keep his wife out of his mouth, meanwhile Will Smith went on to win the Best Actor Oscar for the role he played in King Richard.

According to his statement, said, “I want to apologise to the Academy. I want to apologise to all my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment and I’m not crying for winning an award. It’s not about winning an award for me. It’s about being able to shine a light on all of the people.”

However, Landing Chris Rock a slap and winnig the best actor of the year, the veteran actor, Denzel Washington offered Will Smith the following advice he said; “At your highest moment, be careful, that’s when the devil comes for you.”
