Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived Akure, capital of Ondo State for the All Progressive Congress (APC) mega rally ahead of Saturday’s gubernatorial elections.
Shettima arrived at the Akure Airport around noon, accompanied by several state governors and members of the National Assembly.
The Governors present include: Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos); Dapo Abiodun (Ogun); Abiodun Oyebanji (Ekiti) and Usman Ododo of Kogi State.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa assumed office following the passing of former Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on December 26, 2023, and is now the flag bearer for the APC in the upcoming election.
