Ogun State police nabs most wanted notorious rit¥alist; rejects his N1 million bribe offer

One Ifasohi Ayangbesan, an age 35-year old man and member of a notorious rit¥alist syndicate, has been nabbed by men of the Ogun police command command in connection with the d£ath of one Oyindamola Adeyemi.

In a statement issued out by the image maker of the command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, revealed that the victim was k#lled and dism£mbered by the suspect and his accomplices on 28th of January, 2023, in Ijebu Ode.

The police SP stressed that other members of Ifasoji’s gang has been arrested and it was during interrogation that the police were able to find out his hideout at Ijade Iloti area of Ijebu Ode.

According to the statement,

“The suspect who has been indicted by the earlier arrested members of the syndicate as the person who bought the two legs of the victim, took to flight immediately he heard that he has been mentioned by his colleagues. Since then, the DPO Obalende division, SP Murphy Salami, has detailed his detectives to be on his trail with the view to arrest him and possibly recover the deceased’s two legs from him and prosecute him with his colleagues in crime .”

“Luck however ran against him when he was apprehended at his hideout on the 28th of April 2023. Immediately he was arrested, the suspect made
an offer of one million naira bribe to the policemen, which was rejected. “

“During interrogation, he confessed been part of the syndicate who k#lled Oyindamola Adeyemi, and that he was the person who s£vered the two legs of the deceased which he claimed he used for rit¥al purpose,” the statement read.
