OAU Students Storm Ife-ibadan Road To Protest Over Ongoing ASUU Strike

The Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, ile-Ife students has on Thursday 12th of may, 2022, blocked the Ife-Ibadan road to reveal their grievances by protest over the ongoing strike action embarked upon Academic Staff Union Of Universities, ASUU.

ASUU has been on strike since 14th of February, 2022 over federal government failure to meet their demands.

The strike of three months now was extended, with three months again of roll over strike after government was unable to meet demands in the past three months.

However, students has taken to the street to reveal their plights by carrying placards, one of which read, ‘If you have money for election form, you have money to fund education’ #Fundeducation ‘#EndASUUStrike’ it said
