The people of Orlu/Orsu/Oru East Federal Constituency of Imo State on Tuesday has staged at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Owerri, the state capital of imo state over the declaration of Canice Nwachukwu of the All Progressives Congress, APC as the winner of the election in the federal constituency.
The protesters were seen with placards with different inscriptions, saying that no election took place in the federal constituency owing to the insecurity ravaging the area on Saturday.
The protesters revealed that they were surprised to read the next day that Nwachukwu of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC had been returned as the winner of the election.
