Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, has won the presidential election in Jigawa state, North-west of the country.
The ruling All Progressive Congress, APC flag bearer won the 19 LGAs of the state with a total of 421,390 votes, according to the electoral commission resident electoral commissioner in the state, Muhammad Bashar, a Nigerian professor, who declared Bola Tinubu as winner at the state collation centre on Monday.
Muhammad Bashar declared he defeated the candidate of the People Democratic Party, (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, who scored 386,587 votes respectively.
