Zaidu Sanusi may not be available for selection when the Super Eagles play South Africa on Wednesday night at the Stade de la Paix in Bouake, according to reliable reports from the team’s camp in Cote d’Ivoire. This could force coach José Peseiro to alter his starting lineup.
In the first two group games of the tournament, Sanusi started as the left wing-back. In the third group game, against Guinea-Bissau, he came on as a replacement.
He participated in the entire 90 minutes of the quarterfinal victory against Angola, as well as the 80 minutes against Cameroon.
