The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Headquarters has activated the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) due to the water release from the Lagdo Dam.
This was announced on the Agency’s X page on Monday, 9th of October, 2023 saying:
“The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Headquarters has taken action by activating the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) due to the water release from the Lagdo Dam.
“During a recent press conference, NEMA Director General Mustapha Habib Ahmed identified states facing a high risk of flooding and encouraged them to initiate their emergency response plans in collaboration with relevant partners.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>
