NDLEA Nabs Drug Distributors in Lagos, Uncovers Skuchies Factory in Ogun and More
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has made significant strides in its fight against drug trafficking and abuse in Nigeria. During the investigation, Oseni confessed to running the illicit drug trade for the past three years, catering to patrons of clubs such as Quilox, Silver Fox, DNA, and Hot Box. Additionally, he revealed involvement in organizing shows for artists both within and outside Nigeria.
NDLEA operatives intercepted ten parcels of Colorado, weighing 2.50kg, cleverly concealed inside large tins of coffee and duvets linked to Oseni.
Subsequent searches at his residence led to the recovery of more of the illicit substance, along with a digital weighing scale and other related items.
A businessman, Nnadi Kingsley Ikenna, was also implicated in the shipment but was not present at the time of the seizure. However, upon his return to Nigeria from South Africa, NDLEA officers arrested him at the Lagos airport. Kingsley admitted to owning a portion of the consignment.

The NDLEA’s efforts extended to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, where they intercepted a cargo destined for Nairobi, Kenya, containing MDMA (Ecstasy) and Rohypnol concealed in foodstuff. Another suspect was thwarted at the airport, trying to export quantities of Loud (a variant of cannabis), Tramadol, and Rohypnol to Muscat, Oman.
Further investigations led to the arrest of other suspects involved in drug trafficking schemes in Lagos, Ondo, Enugu, Anambra, and Ogun states. Operations included intercepting shipments of codeine syrup, nitrous oxide, and cannabis sativa.

Additionally, the NDLEA uncovered a skuchies factory in Sagamu, Ogun state, arresting the suspect and seizing various drugs and related paraphernalia.
NDLEA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), praised the officers and men of the agency for their dedication and commitment to combating drug cartels and barons.
He encouraged them to remain steadfast in their efforts to rid Nigeria of drug trafficking and abuse, despite the challenges they face.
