Five of the six sisters of the Al-Kadriyar family who were kidnapped by bandits in the Bwari area of Abuja recently have regained their freedom on Saturday night.
It’s unknown if security personnel were able to save them or if they were freed after paying a ransom.
The sisters were taken into captivity along with their father, who had been freed by the abductors previously.
It was learned that a ransom of N60 million was demanded by the gunmen in exchange for the daughters’ release.
Sadly, it is said that the elder sister was murdered by the abductors and her body was disposed of for the family to bury.
