The value of the naira have gained significantly against the United States dollars on Monday, April 15.
As of late Sunday, the local currency was trading for less than N1000 in several areas of the parallel market.
Bashir Ahmad, a former presidential advisor for digital media, celebrated this development on X, writing: “I can affirm with authority that certain BDCs are currently exchanging US dollars for less than N1000.
“The measures being taken by the CBN to strengthen our Naira are definitely working. Naira will continue gaining!” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
