A sachet pure water seller in a viral post shared on social media todat, Sunday, was seen holding a Point of Sale, POS machine while hawking her wares due to scarcity of cash.
It was also recalled last week, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN had reshared a video via it handle showing a sugarcane seller positioning a POS machine on his wheelbarrow saying “There are no boundaries to going cashless!”
The scarcity of the newly redesigned N1,000, N200 and N500 notes in the country has been causing untold hardship to the people. While it lasts, the Nigeria President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari has promised to resolve the lingering issues before February 10 deadline.
