The Nigerian Navy has reportedly confirmed that it had taken delivery of the controversial presidential yacht, said to be worth about N5 billion.
It could be recalled that the Chief Whip of the Senate, Ali Ndume, on Friday, 3rd of November, 2023 disclosed that the yacht had been delivered to Nigeria before public outcry.
Confirming the delivery, the Director of Information, Nigerian Navy, Commodore Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan, in an interview on Saturday, November 4, said that the yacht had been in the country since June, 2023.
