Nigerian Afrobeats star and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has revealed that his marriage to billionaire heiress Temi Otedola was not bankrolled by his music income alone.
The singer dismissed claims that his latest single was released to recoup wedding costs, joking that music could never pay for such an event.
Eazi explained that, despite global hits in 2017 and 2018, those years were financially tough for him.
He noted that his Iceland wedding with Temi was possible through other means, stressing that his music career, while successful, wasn’t enough to shoulder the expenses.
The couple’s elegant ceremony in Iceland earlier this year was followed by a post-wedding party that coincided with Davido and Chioma’s Miami white wedding, sparking lively comparisons on social media.
