Rebecca Ikumelo, the Mother-of-two, killed in a crush at the 02 Academy Brixton during a concert by Nigerian Popular artiste, Asake, has been laid to rest.
The 33-year-old mother passed away from her severe injuries after a large number of people tried to enter the concert on 15th of December, 2022.
The burial was held on Friday. During the burial, the deceased’s family cried out that her body was held by the coroner for over three months before it was released.
A police investigation into the tragic incident is due to conclude next month.
