Money Rains at Book Launch for Buhari as Rabiu, Dangote, Tinubu, and Others Make Heavy Donations

• Generous donations were made at the public presentation and book launch of biographies on President Muhammadu Buhari held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

FRESHREPORTERS has gathered that the public presentation and book launch of biographies on President Muhammadu Buhari, held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, witnessed a remarkable display of generosity as esteemed individuals made substantial donations.

The event featured the launch of two books titled “State of Repair: How Muhammadu Buhari Tried to Change Nigeria for Good” by Antony Goldman and “The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari” by Senator Abu Ibrahim.

Notable figures present at the event included the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima.

According to Daily Trust, the books were reviewed by Dr Kayode Fayemi, the former Governor of Ekiti State, and Professor Abubakar Sadeeque Abba. The highlight of the occasion was the generous contributions made towards the book launch.

Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu, the Chairman of BUA Group, set the tone by making a remarkable donation of N200 million.

This was followed by Aliko Dangote, the Chairman of Dangote Group, who contributed N100 million towards the launch. Muhammed Idimi also joined in the spirit of giving by donating N100 million.

President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima demonstrated their support for the event by acquiring copies of the books at a combined cost of N40 million.

The presence of distinguished guests added to the grandeur of the occasion, including the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Akufo-Addo, who served as the Chairman of the event.

Akufo-Addo expressed his admiration for President Buhari and commended his leadership, stating that history would be kind to him.

He acknowledged Buhari’s efforts in diversifying Nigerian agriculture, revitalizing the economy, and combating the menace of Boko Haram.

The event was graced by various dignitaries, including Dr Ahmad Lawan, the President of the Senate, and Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Atiku Bagudu, the Governor of Kebbi State, and Alhaji Kashim Ibrahim-Imam, among others, were also present at the ceremony.

The book launch served as a platform to celebrate President Muhammadu Buhari’s achievements and share his remarkable journey.

The generous donations made by individuals and the presence of esteemed guests exemplified the recognition and appreciation for President Buhari’s leadership and the impact he has made during his tenure.
